Celebrities can get into some very strange stuff. I don’t know if it is due to their extreme wealth making them bored by regular activities, or if there is something about their insanity that has driven them to have such great success. Whatever it is, there’s no shortage of crazy celebrity stories.
Every week there seems to be something new going on in the news about a celebrity or even a politician having a crazy secret come out about them. We’re used to everyday situations, like cheating or saying something that gets them in trouble, but then there are truly fantastical stories too.
The most recent crazy celebrity story is absolutely bonkers. It sounds like something out of Silence of the Lambs. It involves actor Armie Hammer who starred in such movies as The Social Network and Call Me By Your Name. Pictures and text have recently come out alluding to the fact that Armie Hammer might be into cannibalism.
Armie Hammer has not had a good start to his 2021. His ex girlfriend, a model by the name of Paige Lorenze, spoke to Fox News about her relationship with the actor. According to her, he has the desire to hurt women. They started dating last September in an open relationship. In that relationship, they both engaged in BDSM activities, though she feels that in retrospect, they were not fun and safe activities.
In her interview with Fox News, she said, "Right away he definitely did get into things and had me do things that weren't my norm. He wanted me to only call him 'Sir' or 'Daddy' in the bedroom. He's obviously a very kinky person and he made that very clear to me, but I thought it was going to be fun and safe.”
While BDSM isn’t inherently bad, apparently Hammer started claiming he wanted to eat her ribs. "He was talking about finding a doctor to remove my ribs that I don't need -- the ribs that are on the bottom -- and that he had a smoker at his house. He wanted to smoke them and eat them. He wondered how they would taste and he basically was like, 'I bet you they would taste good.'"
She even showed pictures which showed scars on her upper abdomen that she claims was made by Hammer using a knife. This isn’t the only photographic evidence either. An instagram account known for celebrity gossip called House of Effie leaked text message images that confirmed some of these claims. He has since left his upcoming rom-com movie with Jennifer Lopez in light of these allegations.
Armie Hammer and his soon-to-be ex-wife, Elizabeth Chambers, were technically still together while he dated other people. Chambers finally broke her silence when news came out about a new Armie Hammer movie from the same director as Call Me By Your Name. The movie is called “Bones & All” and is about a woman that eats the people who love her. Chambers' response to the news was the instagram caption, “No. Words.”
Her response is subtle, but many people are pointing to it meaning that she is well aware of his desires and this movie feeds into them. Hammer’s attorney went on Fox News to defend the client, claiming that these were lies meant to defame and discredit Hammer. While pictures are usually proof, we live in a world where anything can be faked. Who do you believe?
