This headshot of a young Jim Carey might have been taken around the time he wrote himself a check for $10,000,000 for "acting services rendered". As the story goes, Carey was a struggling actor in Hollywood and decided to use the "Law of Attraction" in order to manifest opportunities to pursue his dream as a successful actor. He wrote out a check for $10 million, and kept it in his wallet, looking at it regularly and with passion and faith, even when things got tough. As he told Oprah during an interview on the Oprah Winfrey show in February, 1997, he eventually ended up manifesting precisely what he sought: Seven years later from the date he wrote that check, he received a $10,000,000 payment for his role in "Dumb and Dumber".
Nowadays, you'll find Carey working in his art studio doing paintings and political cartoons. And if you're lucky enough to hail from his home country of Canada, you might find one of the commemorative stamps with his face on it that CanadaPost commissioned in 2014!
