She's not alone: an estimated 20-40 people end their lives there every year, and over 5,000 people - though not all of them suicides - in total have perished at the hands of those mighty waters.
Whatever the troubles that Ayano Tokumasu was facing at the time, her short and unhappy life wasn't the only one that was affected that day.
