Linda Vaughn became Miss Hurst Golden Shift when she entered a contest between 200 girls for the Race Queen title. Her Hursettes were Nikki Phillips and June Cochran. All three of them together were quite the hot ticket back in the day.
The Hursettes would go to racing events such as the Nationals, the Indy 500, and the Daytona 500 and offer support (and a little bit of eye candy) . She wasn't just eye candy though.
