'Hedwig and the Angry Inch' is a movie that enjoys a huge cult following. The idea of the operation was to allow him to escape the oppressive conditions of East Germany and run away to America with his partner, but he's dumped abruptly after the operation fails. He finds solace in the arms of another man named Tommy, only to wake up one day to find that Tommy has left and stolen all of his music.
