16. Fred Savage - Started To Embark On A Directing And Producing Career

Anyone who watched the hugely popular coming of age television series, The Wonder Years, will recognize Fred Savage as the star character, Kevin Arnold. Savage played the role for the entire length of the series, from 1988 to 1993, and won a bunch of awards for his performance. Needless to say, people saw great things happening for him in the acting world.

Before his Wonder Years fame, he also got noticed when he portrayed the grandson in blockbuster flick, The Princess Bride. In addition to this, he starred in films, Vice Versa and Little Monsters when he wasn't filming for TV. Though his acting work didn't totally dry up after The Wonder Years came to an end, Savage definitely wasn't landing any major roles. He still works in the entertainment industry and enjoys modest success.
