Nancy McKeon

Nancy McKeon

Nancy will always have a place in our hearts from her starring role as Jo in "The Facts of Life", a show that ran with great success for most of the 1980s, and she was already well known to most audiences by the time the 1990s rolled around. During the decade she received her only four movie credits to date, making that time of her life, arguably, her creative peak.

Her career actually started all the way back in 1977 with an appearance on "Starsky and Hutch", and she worked constantly in television for almost the next thirty years. She was nearly even more famous - the role of Monica in "Friends" came down to a straight choice between Nancy and Courtney Cox, with Nancy just losing out. She has no hard feelings about that, however, agreeing that Cox was the perfect choice for the part. She's slowed down with her acting work in recent years, after marrying and starting a family in 2003.
