Each app is obviously designed with the right colors to get you addicted. Just think about that little red notifications bubble - it's almost impossible to ignore! You can apply the grayscale filter by visiting Settings > General > Accessibility > Display Accommodations > Color Filters. You can also add a shortcut if you'd like to switch between grayscale and full color. Simply return to the Accessibility settings and click Accessibility Shortcut, then Color Filters. Once you have activated the shortcut you'll be able to flick between settings with three pushes of the home button.
